A beard is the hair that grows on a man's chin, cheeks and neck.

Shaving:
Shaving has numerous side effects not the least of which are cuts and
irritation. People with curly hair usually have the worst reactions to shaving.
It is believed that shaving can cause hair to become thicker and darker.
Which is false. Stubble makes the hair appear thicker, but it is not.
Studies have shown shaving has no effect on hair growth or density.
